Semarang, February 4–5, 2025 — To enhance readiness for the reaccreditation process, the Sharia Economics Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Diponegoro University (FEB UNDIP), held a Workshop on the Study Program Self-Evaluation Document (DED) on Thursday–Friday, February 4–5, 2026. The workshop took place in Hall Horison 1, 8th Floor, Horison Inn Antawirya, Tembalang.
The workshop was attended by faculty and department leaders, lecturers from the Sharia Economics Study Program, and the accreditation document preparation team. This activity is a strategic part of preparing supporting documents for reaccreditation in accordance with the standards and criteria established by the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT).
The workshop focused on in-depth discussions related to the preparation of the Self-Evaluation Document, which included an analysis of the study program’s performance achievements, a mapping of strengths and weaknesses, and the formulation of a strategy for continuous quality improvement. Each component was comprehensively evaluated to align with the vision, mission, and objectives of the Sharia Economics Study Program, FEB UNDIP.
The Head of the Islamic Economics Study Program at the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) of Diponegoro University (UNDIP) stated that this activity not only aims to fulfill the administrative requirements for reaccreditation but also serves as a means of academic reflection to improve the quality of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. “The Self-Evaluation Document reflects the quality and direction of the study program’s development. Therefore, its preparation must be carried out seriously, collaboratively, and based on data,” he said.
Through this workshop, it is hoped that the entire team will have a shared understanding of the accreditation assessment standards and will be able to produce a high-quality, accurate document that reflects the excellence of the Islamic Economics Study Program at FEB Diponegoro University (UNDIP). This activity also affirms the study program’s commitment to maintaining and improving the quality of higher education in Islamic economics, in line with the spirit of “Dignified and Beneficial.”
With the implementation of this Self-Evaluation Document workshop, the Islamic Economics Study Program at FEB Diponegoro University is optimistic that it can face the reaccreditation process with thorough preparation and continue to contribute to the development of Islamic economics science and practice at the national and global levels.
