OPTIMIZING DIGITAL MARKETING FOR FARMER GROUPS THROUGH SOCIAL MEDIA & E-COMMERCE

Ngargosari Village, Sumberlawang District, Sragen Regency (2026) – Advances in digital technology are encouraging agricultural sector players to adapt to marketing their products more effectively and professionally. One easy-to-use and accessible platform is WhatsApp Business.

In response, Irvana Rizky M, a Community Service Program (KKN) student, implemented an Introduction to Digital Marketing and Digital Marketing Mentoring through Social Media & E-commerce program for the Ngargosari Village Farmers Group Association (GAPOKTAN). This program aims to help GAPOKTAN separate personal and business communications and improve the quality of service to consumers.

The program included presentations on the basics of digital marketing, simple sales strategies, and an introduction to digital platforms. The KKN students then provided direct assistance in creating a WhatsApp Business account, from setting up a business profile, operating hours, product catalog, and automated messages.

Through this assistance, GAPOKTAN is expected to be able to manage business communications more professionally, maintain the privacy of personal numbers, and facilitate the promotion and transaction of agricultural products. Participants welcomed this activity, considering it practical and relevant to their daily business needs. This program represents the contribution of Community Service Program students to supporting the digitalization of agricultural marketing and increasing the competitiveness of local products in Ngargosari Village.
