Semarang, September 24, 2025 – The Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Diponegoro once again celebrated the spirit of entrepreneurship with the successful hosting of Market Day 2025 on Wednesday (24/9). This year’s event carried the vibrant theme “Rodeo Town Market”, transforming the FEB courtyard into a lively cowboy-town bazaar.
Held from 09.00 to 17.00 WIB at the FEB Undip front yard, the event featured dozens of student tenants showcasing a wide range of creative products, from food and beverages to fashion items and handicrafts. Market Day has become an important platform for studentpreneurs to introduce their businesses, strengthen their brands, and sharpen their entrepreneurial skills in a real market setting.
More than just a marketplace, Market Day 2025 also emphasized the values of Islamic economics by encouraging ethical business practices, transparency, and integrity in every transaction. For many students, this event served as a hands-on learning opportunity to apply entrepreneurship concepts and Islamic financial management theories directly into practice.
Visitors, including students, lecturers, and members of the local community, flocked to the bazaar throughout the day. The festive rodeo-themed decorations and various entertainment activities added to the vibrant atmosphere, making Market Day not only an economic event but also a social and recreational one.
Through this annual event, FEB Undip continues to strengthen its entrepreneurship ecosystem while supporting its mission to nurture graduates who are creative, innovative, and entrepreneurial-minded. Market Day 2025 proved once again that Undip students are not only future academics but also potential business leaders ready to contribute to the halal and sustainable economy in Indonesia.
