The Undergraduate Program of Islamic Economics, Faculty of Economics and Business, Diponegoro University (FEB UNDIP), has successfully conducted the Level 3 Zakat Management Qualification Certification in collaboration with the Professional Certification Institute of Sharia Economics (LSP Beksya) on June 12–13, 2025. The program was attended by students from the 6th and 8th semesters.
This certification aims to equip final-year students with professional qualifications in zakat management, aligned with the growing demand for competent zakat practitioners in the national sharia economy. Participants who pass the standardized competency assessment will receive an official certificate valid for 3 years.
“This certification program is part of our curriculum strategy to ensure graduates are not only academically competent but also professionally prepared to contribute in the field of Islamic economics, particularly in zakat management,” said the Head of the Islamic Economics Undergraduate Program, FEB UNDIP.
Through this program, students are expected to actively contribute to a more professional, accountable, and sharia-compliant zakat management system.
