The Faculty of Economics and Business, Diponegoro University (FEB UNDIP) once again hosted the Public Policy Study Seminar (KKP) 6.0* which took place in Semarang, April 24, 2025, precisely at the Pertamina Hall, FEB UNDIP. This activity raised the theme of the Economic Growth Model to Support Asta Cita and was part of a series of public policy seminars that have been running since 2020.
This event was initiated by the Indonesian Economists Association (ISEI) as a form of real contribution in encouraging the acceleration of achieving Asta Cita, a grand vision of national development. The KKP 6.0 Seminar presented various stakeholders from the government, academic, and banking sectors, including representatives from Bank Indonesia, various national banks, and delegates from various universities such as UNIKA and UDINUS.
The Chancellor of Diponegoro University, Prof. Dr. Suharnomo, S.E., M.Sc., who is also the Chairperson of the Semarang Branch of ISEI, opened the event by emphasizing that the role of universities is not limited to academic spaces. “The campus is not only active at the academic level, but also takes the initiative to unite stakeholders from both business and government to realize community welfare,” he said.
In the keynote speech session, Deputy Governor of Bank Indonesia and Head of Field III of PP ISEI, Aida S. Budiman, said that KKP 6.0 is an important part of ISEI’s journey in building a bridge between academic thinking and policy implementation. “KKP is a strategic forum that has been running consistently since 2020 and is an important forum in strengthening cross-sector synergy to achieve national development goals,” he explained.
This seminar also presented prominent speakers such as Firman Mochtar (Head of DKEM BI/Deputy Chair of Field III of PP ISEI), Prof. Telisa Aulia (Professor of FEB UI), and Prof. Firmansyah (Professor of FEB UNDIP), and was moderated by Donni Fajar Anugerah (Deputy Director of DEIH and member of Field III of PP ISEI).
Through KKP 6.0, FEB UNDIP reaffirms its commitment as a center for strategic thinking and collaboration in supporting inclusive and sustainable public policy directions for the welfare of the nation.
