Semarang, February 21, 2025 – The Islamic Economics Study Program at Diponegoro University held an accreditation preparation meeting on February 21, 2025, led by Ariza Fuadi, S.H.I., M.A., Ph.D., as the Head of the Islamic Economics Study Program. The main objective was to outline strategic measures in anticipation of the forthcoming accreditation process by LAMEMBA in 2026.

Furthermore, Achmad Nur Alfianto, M.E., the leader of the accreditation committee, presented several critical aspects that require attention. Some key issues that need to be addressed include the standardization of the definition of permanent lecturers in the study program (DTPS), project-based courses, and the tracer study of alumni. He highlighted the need for the committee to be well-prepared for data collection and emphasized the importance of conducting a comprehensive evaluation of the educational and teaching processes. A well-defined timeline has been prepared to facilitate accreditation fulfillment, and the next agenda is scheduled for March 2025.

The Islamic Economics Study Program aims to submit the reaccreditation application in early 2026. Alfian emphasized the importance of preparing the required documents promptly. Lastly, the meeting aimed to foster collaboration among all teams and relevant stakeholders to enhance the quality of education within the Islamic Economics Study Program. By doing so, the program seeks to meet the established accreditation standards and contribute positively to the advancement of Islamic economics in Indonesia.
